The combined effort of so many of you has come to one defining moment, where Stuart Millichip, pictured below, presents the cheque (£3500 to each charity) to the Tenbury Wells & District Round Table.

And below to the Aid for Aspergers charity, from left Steve Palmer, Stuart Millichip and Alan Richens.

The First Annual Adam Millichip Memorial Golf Challenge held at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club on Friday 7th May 2010 was a smashing success. 44 teams of 4 players all completed a demanding 18 hole course, with the best two scores counting on the first nine and the three best scores counting on the back nine. Shown below are the main team prize winners Mark Fish, Simon Eades, Dave Pain and Tom Pain, who will enjoy a week at a luxury apartment in Bodrum in Turkey.
It was a very fitting tribute to Adam, and we believe it to have been a total triumph. On behalf of the 4 organisers Stuart, Paul, Mark and Mark along with the Millichip family, we would like to say a huge heart felt thank you to every single volunteer, player, sponser and donator. Without your kind contributions this day would not have been possible.

The trophy picured here was donated by the Tenbury Wells & District Round Table. The Family Trophy, donated by the Millichip family, was competed for in a doubles competition comprised of 2 family members. The winners of this trophy were the Pain brothers, Dave and Tom

The day was rounded off nicely with a packed out room for the presentations of the prizes to the best 5 teams, the family prize, a superb auction, a raffle draw and a very touching toast to Adam in his memory. Most people went home with something, and a lot of people went home with smiles on their faces.

The Cellar Boyz went on to play brilliantly into the early hours of the morning.

All proceeds generated from the day will be presented to Aid For Aspergers and Tenbury & District Round Table, both local charities that are close the Millichip family.

We would also like to say a special thank you to all the staff at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club, including Tim and Martin for their time and dedication, Graham for the words of encouragement throughout, George and his catering team and everyone else at the Club.
